This book is about 5 rules that I believe are essential in order to live a successful life. Good rules are in place for a reason. They can protect us, guide us, and cause us to experience great things if we follow them. But just like any rule, if we break these rules there are severe consequences. The story of our life will always get better if we allow it to. As each page turns, our life should become filled with passion and purpose. Yet so many people live their lives in the past. They stare out the rear-view mirror of life, never looking at what lies ahead. Their best days are behind them. But we are bound to wreck if we are always looking behind us. It is alright to glance back in order to be aware and learn from what is in our past, but we must keep our eyes forward if we are going to succeed. Keeping our eyes forward is about seeing our future the way it can be, not the way it is!
Where there is no FAITH for the FUTURE there is no POWER in the PRESENT.
The past is already written, we can’t change that, but we can choose what our story will be today. We can use the past to create a better future. We don’t have to be victims of our past, we can be victors of it and create a better future. Ronald Reagan, one of our greatest presidents, used to say…
“Our best days are ahead of us.”
One of my favorite mottos to live by is…
“Though you can’t go back and make a brand new start my friend, you can start now and make a brand new end.”
Many people try to play the cards they have been dealt in life thinking it is their one and only hand. It never occurs to them that they can fold and get dealt a new hand. When you get a new hand you get a new opportunity!

and not to harm you,plans to give you hope and a FUTURE.”
God has plans for us and for our future. He can give us a new hand and create an amazing future when we follow His plans that He has set out for us.
