Be A River…

We can either be a RIVER or a RESERVOIR.  River’s flow and have a current to them.  RESERVOIR’S are stagnant and just collect.  I think that in order for us to live life to the fullest we must have a current to where we are going.  When we are caught in the current of our purpose and dreams we will go somewhere.  It is when we get content in the RESERVOIR that we get stale and boring.  Too many people are living a RESERVOIR-type life.  They are just floating out there not really going anywhere with their life.  So trapped by their time and their motivation.  It is time for us to become like a RIVER that flows with passion and purpose.

There are 2 different Mind-Sets between RIVER People & RESERVOIR People…

RESERVOIR People…                                          RIVER People….

– Ask Can I?                                                             – Ask How Can I?

– Don’t Have Enough Time                                  – Make Enough Time  To Have

– Do What Is Expected Of Them                         – Do More Than Expected Of Them

– Lift Up Themselves                                              – Lift Others Above Themselves

– Take Something Big And Make It Small       – Take Something Small And Make It Big

– Hope Their Successful                                         – Work Towards Success

– Their Attitude Controls Them                            – They Control Their Attitude

– Wait For Motivation To Start                             – Start Then Get Motivation

– Manage Their Life                                                 – Lead Their Life

These are just a few examples of the difference between RESERVOIR Mind-Sets and RIVER Mind-Sets.  Let’s be a RIVER that allows life to flow through us not a RESERVOIR that get stagnate.
