When Your Faith Is Leading Your Feet Will Follow.

This thought came to me the other day… “When your faith is leading your feet will follow.”

You see, you and I will be lead by one of two things in our life…Faith or Fear. When faith is leading us it is a natural response for our feet to follow and go. However, when our fear is leading us it is a natural response for our feet to follow and go the opposite way. Make no mistake, every person is led by faith or by fear.

If you and I truly believe that God is limitless then we have to believe that we are limitless as a follower of Him. After all the Bible says, “The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work within us.”  It also says, “Greater thing will we do than what Christ did.” Think about the implications of those verses…GREATER THINGS! Now call me crazy, but greater things does not sound possible. Yet, that is exactly why God wants to show Himself strong in us and through us because He is the God of the impossible.

Some of you reading this blog right now are facing seemingly impossible situations, yet God is saying to you as you read this…NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE with ME! The question you have to ask yourself is, “Is your faith leading you?” or, “Is your fear leading you?”

Here are some quick tips to let your faith lead you…

1. Never Make An Agreement With Your Fear

The moment you start to agree with your fears is the moment you will slow down in your efforts. Never give the enemy a foothold by allowing fear to keep you from your destiny. God will call you to do things bigger and greater than you thought you could do. Never agree with your self limiting beliefs that try to sabotage your faith.

2. Never Talk Yourself Out Of Your Faith

There are so many times God speaks to us to step out, but then we start to “think” about it. We can start to become a Las Vegas Odds Expert and weight out the pros and cons. However, God never asked us to make a calculated odds decision, He has called us to be obedient when He speaks to us. Don’t talk yourself out of your faith.

3. Never Be Led By Circumstances

Just because what we see on the outside doesn’t line up with what God has spoken to us is no reason to abandon ship. Remember we are called to walk by faith NOT by sight. This means we can’t allow the circumstances to deter us from our mission. Whatever the last thing God spoke to you about be faithful to it no matter how the conditions look.

4. Never Lose Heart

I love the old statement that still stands true…”When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” When we follow after God we cannot get spiritually fatigued in doing good. Fight the good fight, you never know how close you are to winning. Don’t give up, don’t give in, don’t give out! Keep your heart protected from growing weary. God is a God of endurance and will call us to hang in, even when it gets tough. But remember, there is always a reward and a reason for what we go through in life.
