Living in the Spotlight of God’s Calling
When you were born, the stage lights came on. Whether you’ve realized it or not, you’ve been in the middle of God’s performance ever since.
Life is a divine performance. It’s not a rehearsal, it’s not background work — it’s center stage. The curtain lifted the day you took your first breath, and God, the Author of Life, already had the script written. Psalm 139 reveals this astonishing truth: “All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” That means your story isn’t accidental — it’s authored.
1. You Are Not a Fill-In — You Are the Featured Role
Before you ever took a step, God had already choreographed your purpose. You were hand-selected, cast in a role that only you could fulfill. You didn’t stumble onto the set. Ephesians 2:10 tells us you were “created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance.”
There’s no need to audition for purpose — you’ve already been chosen.
2. Accepting Your Role Begins with Confidence
Hebrews 10:35 warns us, “Do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.” Many believers miss their cue, not because they lack purpose, but because they’ve lost their confidence. You weren’t created to sit in the wings while others fulfill their roles. You’ve got a divine cue. Step into it boldly — not because of your power, but because of your Savior’s authority.
“God will help you be all you can be, but He will never help you be someone else.” — Joyce Meyer
3. The Most Important Days: Birth & Calling
Mark Twain once said, “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” Your birth was proof of divine intention. But discovering why you’re here — that’s when you step into the script. That’s the day your performance begins.
Call to Action: Don’t just show up to life — show up on purpose. Accept your divine role. You’re not a background character. You are a featured performer in the greatest story ever told.
