Eliminating The Impossible

Never say never. Whoever came up with this old saying had their mind in the right place. What a powerful statement to be made. This is a declaration of someone who truly believes that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. Now that is my kind of person.

One phrase that our 2 daughters hear me say all the time is, “Don’t tell me how it can’t be done, tell me how it can be done.” They have grown to have a love/hate relationship with this phrase. Too many people come up with all the reasons why things won’t work, but all they need is one reason to make it work. When someone believes something is impossible their mind goes to work to prove why. However, if one believes something is possible the mind goes to work and figure out ways to make it happen.

So the secret is in the starting point. If you start with the belief that you don’t have what it takes, or that things won’t work out, chances are you will be right. What starts wrong usually end up wrong. It is like a vector shot off into space. If it is only a millimeter off during the launch, it’s course will end up miles off from its destination down the line. The same is true with our life, if we start off course, with the wrong thinking, we end up at the wrong destination. Again, the secret is to start with the belief that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. When you start from that level of thinking it opens a world of possibilities. However, when you shut down belief from the beginning, you shut down everything.

This happens…

  • In Business. This is why organizations stop growing and producing new products & services.
  • In Relationships. This is why people give up in their marriages or singles lose hope of finding a mate (they start to believe no one will ever find them worthy of marriage).
  • In Productivity. This is why people stop innovating and pushing for greater results, they don’t believe they can go any further.
  • In Finances. This is why people live in poverty. They don’t believe they have what it takes to create wealth, therefore they settle for a paycheck and live week to week.
  • In Destiny. This is why people give up on their dreams, they hit roadblocks and believe that things won’t work out the way they’ve always dreamed it could. Therefore they stop pursuing their goals and ambitions.

The list goes on and on concerning areas of life that people tend to stop believing in. So my question to you is this…

DO YOU BELIEVE ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE?

Matthew 19:26

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

When we align our lives up to the purposes of God we are able to accomplish everything He has called us to. So are you pursuing Him to know His will, and believing that you have what it takes? Remember, when God has called you to it, He will see you through it. I leave you with one of my favorite quotes from Sherlock Holmes…”When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.” When you eliminate the impossible, what remains is God’s power to supernaturally make things possible for your business, relationships, productivity, finances, and destiny.

You were created for greatness, by a great God…never forget that!
